MAUVILAC CRISTAL is an acrylic emulsion paint with an attractive glittery finish .The glitter effect is enhanced by proper positioning of light. Ideal for decorative purposes, its silky glittery finish brings a subtle, felted and unique softness to your feature walls. With 25% shine, Highly washable, MAUVILAC CRISTAL is also suitable for outdoor use where a durable and very resistant finish is desired. Available in 12 standard colours.

Ensure that all surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, dry and free from defective or poorly adhering material such as efflorescence, dirt, grease or wax.  New cement based surfaces should be allowed to cure for at least 28 days. Smooth surfaces such as precast concrete must be exempt of dirt before being primed with CLEAR EMULSION BINDER or SEALER PRIMER followed by 2 coats of MAUVILAC CRISTAL.

 

Old surfaces: Doubtful and powdery surfaces must be washed, scraped and dusted before being coated with a layer of CLEAR EMULSION BINDER or SEALER PRIMER followed by 2 coats of MAUVILAC CRISTAL Surfaces contaminated by microorganisms must be decontaminated with FUNGICIDAL WASH. Seal defective cracks.

 

Wood, wooden boards: Apply a layer of WOOD PRIMER or UNIVERSAL UNDERCOAT. Sand and dust. Apply a coat of ONE FOR ALL before applying MAUVILAC CRISTAL.

Apply with a brush or roller. Thin down with water as required depending on mode of application. Stir well. Do not overthin. One litre will cover between 6 and 8m2 of surface. Approximately 30minutes to touch dry, can be over-coated after approximately 3 hours. Please refer to Technical Data Sheet for more details.

 

Precautions for use

  • Ensure good ventilation.
  • In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly and seek medical advice.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Close the container tightly and store it upright in a dry and cool place.
  • Do not use it to store food.
