Ensure that all surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, dry and free from defective or poorly adhering material such as efflorescence, dirt, grease or wax.
Plaster & Concrete: New cement based surfaces should be allowed to cure for at least 28 days. Remove all loose dust and ensure surface is completely dry. Prime entire area with MAUVILAC SEALER PRIMER, MAUVILITH SEALER or AQUALITH SEALER in order to obtain a uniform barrier coat against alkalinity.
Wood: Remove splinters and fill defects with a wood filler. Sand smooth with 150 or 220 grit paper before applying MAUVILAC SIGNATURE.
Enamels and Varnished Surfaces: Remove any loose and flaking paint. Sand down slightly for proper adhesion of MAUVILAC SIGNATURE .
Melamine/Formica®: Degrease surface with an appropriate cleaner.
Galvanised Steel: Clean with RUST REMOVER. Rinse clean. Allow to dry thoroughly.
PVC: Remove all loose dust and ensure surface is completely dry.
Aluminium: Remove all dust and grease with an appropriate cleaner. Allow to dry.
Note: Not suitable in areas with direct water contact such as shower enclosures or where frequent or heavy condensation is likely to occur.

Apply by brush, short nap or sponge roller. Can be applied by airless and conventional spray. Do not thin. Use as is.
Spreading rate / Film thickness: ± 10 m² per litre per coat for a dry film thickness of 35 microns.
Drying time: Approximately 30 – 45 minutes to touch dry, can be over-coated after 4 – 6 hours depending on ambient conditions.
